BINGHAM JACK ROGERS

So...here's a little story...
since Arlee was so difficult to deliver...at 41 weeks, Dr. Huish decided to induce me the day before my due date. I had to go to the hospital at 3pm. Talk about a long day. It seemed like 3 would never get here! FINALLY it did! My sister Charlene and my niece Brittney watched Cooper and Arlee when we went. I'm so LUCKY to have such a GREAT family!
This is a picture of me a few minutes before we went to the hospital!
I had to make a face at Flint while he was taking the picture!
We got to the hospital and they started the pitocin at about 5:30 pm. I was dilated to a 2.
They kept increasing and increasing the pitocin and not much was happening. So finally at 3 in the morning on Friday Dr. Huish came in and broke my water. I was ONLY dilated to a 3! I was so frustrated! I wanted to have had this baby already! It was only a matter of like 15 minutes and I was wanting the oh so lovely EPIDURAL! And they could not give it to me fast enough! I was hating the pain! (I know I'm a wimp so stop laughing at me!) So at 4am I was dilated to a wopin 4! I was so mad! I told Flint " forget this, we are gonna be here FOREVER! I went to sleep...at 5 am 2 nurses came in and woke me up to tell me that they kept losing his heart rate on the monitor, so they wanted to put one on his head, I was like whatever and kinda dozed back off to sleep...then I hear all this commotion going on and I open my eyes and see like 6 people all doing stuff in my room. I panicked and asked the nurse if everything was okay. She goes "yes, you are going to have your baby, are you ready to push?" and then the Dr. walked in. I look over and Flint is asleep on the couch about 4 feet way from me. They put oxygen on me...I pulled the mask off and was like--hey someone wake him up! It was hee-haw funny Flint jumps up and comes to my side all disorientated and his hair was going everywhere I laughed right out loud at him! Dr. Huish said push and about 3 pushes later Bingham was born...the nurses came in at 5am and he was born at 5:25! I went from a 4 to a 10 in one hour and slept through it all! My kind of labor!!!
Bingham was born August 5, 2010 at 5:25 am.
He weighed 8 lbs and was 21" long. A HUGE baby if you ask me!
Our new family picture! Bingham is about 6 hours old!
Big brother and Big sister checking out their new brother!
This picture was taken on Friday August 6th, the day we came home from the hospital.
The grey tubing coming from Bingham is a bili-light. He was a little jaundice so he had to wear the bili-light until Monday.

Arlee holding Bingham. These two are so excited to have a baby to hold!

Raking leaves in JULY???

I love this picture of Arlee in her jammies with her purse and her shopping cart with Curious George in it. She loves to push the cart around. I never know what I am going to find in her cart! It cracks me up!

Flint and Cooper raked the front yard...in the END of JULY! The stupid tree in our front yard like to drop its leaves in the summer!

Arlee didn't like to touch the yucky leaves! This is her "dirty look" haha
This is what happens after you play in the itchy leaves! A bath in the kitchen sink!

4th of July!

Here we are in my brothers backyard at a BBQ!
We are all sunburned from swimming with my nieces!
Sierra Vista is our favorite place to go on the 4th!
It is so nice to go somewhere cooler and so fun to get to hang out with the family!
Arlee with Uncle Ron!

Me and Arlee...she is so tired!

Cooper helping Uncle Steve feed the calf! He loves Uncle Steves "FARM"

Grandma and Arlee. Arlee is named after her!
Sunday night we were hanging out at my parents house and the doorbell rings and someone says "Hi President Haymore...do you know who I am?" I was in the family room and I say...I do!
It was Jason Macdonald and his family. It was so fun to see him. We all went to high school together.

Little Miss MESS! Look who got into Coopers markers! It is a GOOD thing that she is CUTE!

June!

Yes, I am so far behind that I am going by months! I'm almost caught up!
Joy came and stayed a few days with us. It was a lot of FUN! Cooper and Joy play so well together and always have a great time!
We went to the new AQUARIUM in Tempe. The kids loved it! Coopers favorite was the sharks...of course!

Cooper and Joy in front of "NEMO"

We have spent most of the summer in our pool! Arlee LOVES the pool. She likes to stand on the edge and count to three and jump in! It is hilarious to watch her. She is a super good sport too! Cooper LOVES to tease and splash her and for the most part doesn't care!
In case you were wondering...YES she has her daddy wrapped around her finger! She is his princess!

Our little fish...Cooper. He is a great swimmer. This summer he has gotten so good at diving! Yes, he can dive and I cant! He also has learned strokes and is always correcting me. I guess I really don't know how to do the back stroke or the butterfly, or free style for that matter! Cooper does!

Little Miss Arlee Bug!

Cooper was assigned to give a talk in primary. So for his talk I spelled out the word HOLY GHOST and for each letter there was a little sentence. So on Sunday morning I tell hm to come down stairs and practice his talk...he comes down wearing his SPIDERMAN costume from TWO years ago! This is a picture of him practicing his talk. It is hard to listen and concentrate when he was wearing that costume! This kids cracks me up sometimes! I never know what he is going to say or do!

Arlee's messy face...she loves chocolate...I wonder who she gets that from?!?

Our MAY adventures...

This is how Cooper does his homework...with a pint of GOLDEN SPOON, juice and no shirt on! I can only imagine this is a glimpse of what he will look like doing his homework when he is 15!

Yeah for MAY!!! Time to swim in the pool! Cooper and Flint were willing to swim way before I was! I like it to be a little bit warmer and so does Arlee!

Yep, I'm playing catch-up! I have gotten so far behind on the blog! So here is a quick summery of our May. Warning...tons of pictures!
This is Cooper and the Neighbor kids plating basketball.

Flint and his infamous cannon bomb!

The twins--Justin and Mason came and visited us from Seattle! We LOVE it when our cousins come!

Cooper turned 6! I can't believe that he is getting so big! Where did the time go?
He had a party in the backyard with a few friends.

Flint is so proud of his garden. These are the 1st veggies we harvested! Yummy!
Arlee in her swim suit! She didn't like the water until it was warm.

EASTER!

Arlee liked the eggs with candy in them the best!

Cooper's 1st jump of the season into the pool! Brrrrrrrrr!
He did it in his underwear...of course!
We hiked up to "A" mountain. it was fun. Next time I'm not going to do it in flip flops!

Me with the kids.
Can you find Flint and Cooper????
I got to go chaperon the kindergarten kids at Phoenix Children Museum. Cooper loved this place and has begged to go back ever since.
